Online Color Printing--PsPrint

About

Born in 1980, growing up in Antioch (Yoch-town), Ca, I always had an interest in drawing and art. It was in junior year of high school that I first was introduced to desktop publishing on the Macintosh, in what was called the Multimedia Academy. Taking that class the 2 semesters, and taking the ROP Desktop Publishing course for 2 semesters senior year, I had a lot of software training hours right out of high school. It was my time spent at Los Medanos College where I learned the skills of design and layout, and the technical knowledge of the printing process.
During the years acquiring my Associates Degree, I got married, had a child, and had several jobs in the Graphic Arts/Digital Publishing world. After I got my degree in 2002, I began focusing on my career full time; trying to work in different fields and work with the best people so I could gain the knowledge and experience that would be sought after by future employers. By now I have worked on everything from free newspapers, to glossy magazines, to data base driven web sites, to camera-ready art work for a 2 color press, and I am still eager to expand both my creative and technical range. I currently live in a little old house in Martinez, with a wonderful view of the Shell refinery.
Besides being a devoted father and husband, I like hiking, riding bikes, going to car shows, surfing the ʻnet for useless dribble, reading, drawing and painting. I am a magazine freak. I like listening to Neil Young (the whinier the better). My favorite actor is Clint Eastwood. I have an acoustic guitar and a Fender Stratocastor that I donʼt know how to play yet. I like old cars, period. I try to watch as little television as possible, but itʼs a hard addiction to kick. I read Tom Clancy novels. In the morning I flip between Howard Stern and the Alice Radio morning show with Sara & NoName on the way to work. My long term goals include having a clean garage and having the walls of my sonsʼ room covered in super heroes. I love Resses Peanut butter Cups. My favorite spot in the world is where highway 49 passes over the Yuba River, near the Sierra Buttes.
